can you believe i've never read this book?
so tonight our creative playtime was spent reading some books aloud. i read cat in the hat to the boys, and then i started reading skippyjon jones. but spencer loves this book as much as i do, and he kept reading aloud with me!!! so i finally just asked if he wanted to read it to us. i barely got that question out of my mouth, and he already had the book in his hands! if you haven't read skippyjon jones, you should! it's about a little siamese cat who thinks he's a mighty chihuahua! so of course when i read it aloud, i use my best taco bell dog voice! one of my favorite lines in the book is, "the dude just wants his beans back." don't ask me why! it just makes me laugh!
apparently two books weren't enough so colby brought chicken little to read also. it's not as good as the other two, but i'm just glad they still like to hear mom read to them! as long as they'll listen, i will definitely read!

Does Rocky need to be worried about being replaced by Oscar? Skippyjon Jones sounds like a good book. Where do people get these ideas!
I don't know but I wish some of them would come to me!!! I would LOVE to write a children's book. You'd think I would have some good material considering who I live with!!!
