after we partied with spencer's friends saturday afternoon, our family had supper at freddy's (yum-o!) with nellie, brett, gina, abbey, jacob and lisa! great food and even better friends!

sunday, colby FINALLY got his certificate for completing the bethlehem level of goal keepers at church! he was so excited. he's been waiting for this moment since november!

monday he and colby auditioned for the missoula children's theater's production of "rumplestiltskin". this is the first time either of them have ever tried out for a play, and guess what....both of them got parts! spencer was so excited, and i have to admit i was/am an extremely proud mom! spencer is playing the part of a knight, and colby is a "singing, stinging bee"!

auditions!
they have been practicing all week, and their first performance is tomorrow at 12:15 for all the bartlesville 4th graders. then they perform again tomorrow night at 7:00. i can't wait to see my boys on stage!!!

spencer is loving this. he's had practice every day this week from 4:00-8:30, but i haven't heard him complain once. i hope he's found something that he really likes to do and something he's good at.

the boys got to be excused from school on friday to perform in the play. they had to be at rehearsal at 8:00 a.m.! yikes! that's earlier than i have to be at work!

school has been tough emotionally this week. one of my precious little students has had her world turned upside-down. i can't go into detail on a blog, but just know that this little girl needs lots of prayers. don't worry that you don't know her story or her name, god will know exactly who you are talking about!

daily grateful: people willing to step up
