yesterday was a good day. first we had worship and everyone sat together in two sections because someone roped off the balcony and the two far sections below. it was cozy, but the singing was beautiful.

after morning worship we had lunch with 3 other families from church. and then we came back to the house and i knitted for most of the afternoon. i'll admit i really wanted to take a nap, but i forced myself not to......almost. around 4:30 i just couldn't stand it any longer! i took a short 45 minute nap before our 5th sunday evening service.
we all met in the family life center for our evening of praise and worship. normally small groups meet in different places on sunday night, but since it was a 5th sunday we did something a little different and all met together. the singing was phenomenal! i had goosebumps most of the time, and a couple of songs made a lump in my throat. can you imagine what heaven is going to be like????
today it was back to work. {sigh} all these snow days are spoiling me! i was sort of hoping that i'd get a call this morning saying school was cancelled again. no such luck.
on the way home from school i decided to drive by this car just so i could take a picture! it reminds me of lizzie from the disney movie cars.

Love that old car. I wonder who owned it first! Imagine how happy they were to get it! A car was such a big deal, back in those days. It does look like Lizzie!
