youth group swim party

today at 5:00 it was pouring down rain, thundering and lightning! yay!

rocky had his toy in his mouth frantically running around the house every time it boomed!

the bad thing about it raining and storming at 5:00 was that the youth group was scheduled to come over to our house tonight for swimming and supper! the kids had been told that if it was raining at 5:30 (the actual start time) then we would cancel the party. at 5:15 the storm moved on and the air was so cool compared to the past few weeks! thank you, God!!!

the kids came over and had a great time. they are a really good group of kids....no problems at all!

these two varmints plotted and schemed for a long time to take down daryl, a.k.a. the preacher!

this was their accomplice!

daryl kept his eye on them because they were all acting very suspicious...but finally he got distracted down in the deep end, and they took him under! one of the other kids yelled, "you dunked the preacher!!!!! you're gonna get cursed for that!"

there were lots of noodle fights going on....

and the parents didn't have to worry about it being mixed swimming, especially with the junior high kids...the separated themselves! it was so cute to watch!
