death by sugar
see this plate with it's ginormous frosted heart cookie, 2 sugar cookies, and a brownie? now add 3 kinds of chips, a slice of chocolate chip cookie cake a pound of chocolate and a liter of a carbonated beverage. ok. got it? now multiply that by 23 and THAT'S HOW MY AFTERNOON WENT YESTERDAY!!!!!
i really do thank God that he gave us such beautiful weather yesterday afternoon, because as soon as my kids consumed all that junk we went OUTSIDE for the rest of the party. pretend my trailer/classroom is a 2-liter bottle of coke and you just shook it up as hard as you could. what's going to happen when you open it? an explosion you can't control, right? that's what happened to my kids!!!!!!!!! oh, and on top of that, someone brought one of those stupid fish that you hang on the wall that sings! so it was our "party music".
i was already on edge from listening to the other half of the kids' science reports! i just knew it was going to be like the previous day with all the plagiarism, but i guess i got through to them somehow because everyone had a non-plagiarized report! hallelujah! i guess next year i need to do a better job of explaining how to put research information into your own words!
so my quote of the day is a bit crude, but it just fits so well with my 2 days of science reports:
quote of the day: "I could have eaten a whole box of Alphabits cereal and crapped a better essay than that!" ~author unknown
check back in this evening for the premier of my short story " i hate valentine's day". it's sure to at least get a giggle out of you!

Love, love, love the quote! And since the Congress is throwing so much in the stimulus bill, maybe we can get them to throw in a ban on singing fish! I'm with you on that one! Anything coming from a singing fish cannot be classified as music!
