creativity project #1

you may have noticed the awesome little blinkie with the colored pencils....it is a link to a project idea from lisa day.  i've never done anything like this, but for some reason this one spoke to me.  {honestly, the sharpened colored pencils are what did it!  i love school supplies!}

anyway, tonight as i was folding the boys' clothes, we had a bunch of stray socks.  the boys asked if they could have a sock to make into a puppet.  even though i had mounds of clothes to fold and even bigger mounds of papers to grade, i couldn't pass up this opportunity to play and be creative with them!  here are their puppets!

this is colby's puppet, socky.  he bites!

and this is spencer's puppet, turkett.

he has a swedish accent!
