last night daryl and i got to see george strait and reba mcentire at the BOK center in tulsa. my very awesome and generous friend, nellie, gave us the tickets for FREE!!!!
i was so excited to be seeing george for the first time in concert! i wasn't really looking forward to seeing reba, but i have to admit that she put on a very good show! leann womack also performed, but she was nothing compared to george and reba. george didn't take the stage until 9:30 and was still singing at 10:45 when daryl made me leave. {he was being the responsible adult!} the boys were hanging out with geeg and nellie at geeg's house, so we had to go rescue them...meaning nellie and geeg! we didn't get home until after midnight, but it was so worth it!
george strait rocks!
p.s. i have lots more pictures, but of course blogger is being uncooperative tonight, and this is all i could upload! but, hey, at least i got a picture of george's magical grin! no one smiles like george!
