surface tension
today in science we tested the surface tension of water. each student had a penny, an eye dropper and some water. they added water one drop at a time seeing how many drops they could fit on a penny. they were amazed at the results! try it sometime.
quote of the day: "Will this party involve a disco ball?" ~one of Mrs. Pearce's 3rd graders asked this today when she was talking about her end of the 9 weeks reward party at school!
